Who Can Apply for a Ration Card in 2025?

Presenting forged documents or selling subsidised commodities earns a person up to 25000 rupees fine and imprisonment. The cards that spend longer than 6+ months inactive can be canceled. States are using AI to identify the real and fake beneficiaries.

Type your application number in your state food portal or call the toll free helpline. They are updated by SMS regarding dispatch, new delivery, or problem. Cards that are lost can be reprinted at a small charge by producing a police report.
