In case of digital payments, refunds occur inside 3 working days. The cost of tickets in platforms will still be 10 but during rush periods, it will rise to 30 in large stations.
Travel Flexibility Options
The new 2025 regulations propose the so-called Journey Rescheduling service with the single-change of the travel date (10% of the ticket price, 24 hrs before departure). The general ticket holders will now have an option of upgrading their tickets into higher classes based on availability by paying the difference + 15 percent premium. Unreserved tickets are valid between 24 and 36 hours after they have been booked.
New Penalty Provisions
In the case of ticketless travel, a fine is amplified ( 250 rupees plus the difference in fare) in general class. application of wrong quota tickets incurs half of their fares in penalty. Special Concession Rules
With the new online verification of disability certificates, Divyangjan travelers enjoy 75 percent reduction in all classes.
