This engine is combined with 6-speed transmission, has an assist and slipper clutch in order to shift gears easier. Hero boasts of a speed that is capable of covering 0 60km /h in 3.2 sec making it one of world fastest bikes of this category.

It has a high tension steel trellis frame that supports superb handling and stability. It has 43mm USD front forks and Adjustable 6-step rear monoshock which ensures that the ride has balance even on rugged roads. The two-channel ABS that is switchable on the rear ABS provides additional safety when braking hard or in wet conditions.

Hero has provided the Xtreme 250R with a complete digital LCD instrument cluster that includes more than 35 functions which include lap timer, drag timer and an intelligent illumination. Pricing and Availability
The Hero Xtreme 250R costs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a good deal considering it can be considered as an upgrade to a 150cc bike without burning your bank account. The deliveries already started in big cities, and the average waiting time is 7 to 60 days, depending on the location.
